The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW)has been trying to convince the people of Tokyo, Japan to stop killing whales in Antarctica for a while now, and Japan has finally given in. Japan's whaling fleet is leaving from Antarctica right now with less than half of their usual amount of whales. Although Japan has cut back on whaling, there are still many countries that are doing it illegally.
