Central America and the Caribbean Islands
Unit 4, here we come!! Central America and the Caribbean Islands is starting tomorrow and that means that all current events must either be about Central America or the Caribbean Islands. Remember, opportunities for extra credit are available dependent upon the quality and professionalism of your post. In order to earn an extra credit point, you must provide the following information when posting:
1. The title of the article
2. The name of the newspaper, magazine, internet site, etc.
where you found the article
3. Identify the country and continent where the current event
happened
4. Include a 2 or 3 sentence description of what the article was about

Welcome to our Current Event Blog
As part of our 6th grade Social Studies curriculum, students are required to keep up with current events throughout the world. Specifically, students should be checking the news for information related to our current units of study.
